Gordon's Story...
Are you looking for a new friend to take for walks & to cuddle with on the sofa? Can you picture yourself petting my irresistible ears? My name's Gordon. I'm a beautiful 9-10 month old purebred Cocker Spaniel. I have a wonderfully gentle & friendly temperament. I'm lovely with other dogs & a cream puff with all people. My foster mom says I'm a most perfect dog! I'm healthy & well-behaved. I've been neutered, vaccinated & heartworm tested. Though I love my foster family, I am eager for a family of my very own. If you're my new special person, please email my friends at for an adoption application to take me home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gordon, a Radford Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Radford, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Radford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Radford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Radford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Radford paves the way for another one to be saved.
