Lana's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Lana's Story...
Lana and her sister Annie just like her namesake were orphaned in southern CA. They were found in an affluent part of the neighborhood and it was thought that someone had to be looking for these two beautiful sisters but noone came to take them home. The gals are about 3 years old.

With their days numbered in a very crowded shelter; we answered the plea for help because the gals are very, very sweet and you cannot turn away from those beautiful haunting eyes. Lana is more outgoing than her sister; and Annie the more reserved one watching you from a distance. They both are active with all of their foster pals. They love the outdoors and while the others huddle in the doorway watching the rain, they are romping through the grass.

Annie and Lana are close but they certainly would flourish in separate homes also....we know they miss their families---and would love to get into a real home!

Please email milne7896@comcast.net or call 916-420-5798 to schedule a meeting with either of both of these very nice friendly dogs!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lana, a Sacramento Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
