My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little guy was found by a good Samaritan in the Kroger parking lot in the Heights area. He had sarcoptic mange and was very starved and scared. The good Samaritan took him to the vet and has treated him for his mange. He has been eating well and is gaining weight nicely. Kroger is very petite for a male golden and will probably never weigh more than 50 lbs. He is a loving and affectionate little guy who gets along well with everyone. 

Kroger is approximately 6-10 months old. He is current on vaccinations and heartworm negative. He will be neutered prior to adoption.

Foster Update 12/17/08:

Kroger is doing great! He went to the vet yesterday and received all his puppy vaccinations. He also got another treatment for the mange even though he is showing no further signs. He is laying right now on my couch eating his bone...he loves his bones! My other dogs are laying in another room because Kroger wore them out! He loves to play and chase his big brothers! He is quite the sweetie who deserves a great home!

Foster Update 12/16/08:

Kroger is an adorable golden retriever mix who is named after the grocery store where he was found.  Even though he was living on the streets, he came right up to me and wanted to play.  He enjoys his chew toys and loves playing with his foster buddies!  He definitely needs a house with another dog and room to romp!  He is very loving good boy and deserves a great home!
