NAME: Isabelle - Belle for short
BREED: American Staffordshire Terrier

TEMPERAMENT: Happy puppy, constantly plays, loves people, dogs and is good with cats. Children over 8 yrs of age.
This beautiful cute little girl, is a loving puppy, full of puppy energy. Although she prefers you playing with her will will entertain herself just as happily with her toy, bouncing and throwing it up in the air and catching it again. She's very loving. Loves to be in your lap. She plays fetch just as naturally as if she's been taught it. She gives gentle kisses and takes treats from gentle as a kiss of a butterfly.
Belle needs an active person or a playful active puppy companion. She would do well in agility training. She already plays fetch wonderfully. She gets along with all dogs. She is curious about cats, sniffing them, kissing them, and sometimes chases them for play but she is not aggressive toward them. Belle has no aggression of any kind.
I believe Belle will be gentle with small children but she has not been exposed to them so we suggest children over 8 who don't easily get knocked over by her playfulness.
BELLE'S BACKGROUND: Belle was abandoned, tied to the front porch when her family moved away and did not want to take her with them. Skipping rent and child custody, Belle was turned in by the sewing landlord to Animal Control where she lived for several months until the case was resolved. She shows occasional fear of men and we believe that she was beaten by the the male of the household. However, she soon trust men when they show her they are kind. When she was 7 months old she was released to rescue where she's now waiting for someone to fall in love with her and take her into their hearts. Belle lives in Little Rock, Arkansas but will be adopted out of state.
Belle will be adopted to an inside forever home only. Fence preferred.
