Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you looking for a new year's addition to your family? If so, then I'm your hound! My name is Payson, and I'm a happy little basset hound. My foster mommy says that as long as I get a lot of TLBC (tender loving basset care) then I'm the best basset ever. I'm a young guy - probably 2 or 3. I play nicely with my foster brother. We share food bowls and toys and I even get to share the couch with him! I love to go to the dog park and play with the dogs and people there too. I am kind of shy at first, but once I know you're going to love me and take extra good care of me, then I warm up and will fit right into your family.
My foster mommy loves it that I ride nicely in the car, I don't jump too much, I only really bark when I have to go out or when I am playing toys with my foster brother. I know how to use the doggy door, but can also hold it if need be. I haven't destroyed anything at my foster home, haven't even tried to get anything off the counter, but I do hop in bed with my foster parents when they're sleeping. I like to help keep them warm! If you're looking for an active, easy going, young tri-color boy please call my foster mommy and check me out! I'd love a permanent home of my own for 2009!
