Isaac's Story...
Hi there. My name is Isaac. I am a 2 year old neutered male Rat Terrier mix. I was born on July 13, 2007. I am a rather shy, quiet dog around people but a home with other dogs would be great because I love to play with other dogs. I lived with another dog in my previous home and we did everything together.

I know some cool things already. My owner was teaching me to come in on my own with a treat. Before I would just follow the other dog in my house. I know what to do when you say "let's go to bed" and I also know "stay" from watching other dogs. I am young enough and smart enough to learn so much more. I will snuggle with you on the couch or in bed by your feet. I think I would make a great buddy for you. Please ask to meet me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Isaac, a Sheboygan Rat Terrier/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Rat Terrier for sale in Sheboygan, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Sheboygan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheboygan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheboygan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheboygan paves the way for another one to be saved.
