Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kingston was owned by a middle-aged couple after being unclaimed as a stray. The couple only had him for a few months, and Mr. had a stroke. Mrs. decided she didn't have the time to dedicate to Kingston and her husband, so he was brought to us. He is about one or 1 1/2 years old. He has been neutered and tattooed. He is a gentle guy, very affectionate. Gentle when taking food ect. He has no leash manners, but we have recently started using a Halti on him, and he does very well with that. He does have the hound howl, and is doing it a lot more when he is bored. We hear that he is quite a jumper, so would need someone with a high fence, or someone who is dedicated to walking him. He has been fine with other dogs here, but still has a lot of puppy bounce in his step- not everyone takes kindly to it!
Kingston needs a home where he will be taught manners, obedience, and most of all, love. Kingston has not been tested with cats and he should not go to a home with small children as he may knock them over.
