Mabel's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Mabel's Story...
Mabel is a beautiful, athletic, medium-sized 2-year-old tri-color hound
mix who has been well-loved and well cared for since coming to our home
as a rescue from a shelter when she was 4 months old. She is spayed and
up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She has been trained, is fully
housebroken, and responds to sit and come. Mabel has very soft ears and
likes having them stroked while watching TV with the family. She is a
high energy dog who loves to run. She loves to play fetch and
tug-o-war. Her exuberance is friendly. She needs space and the great
outdoors. She would do well on a large property. I think she will
respond well to someone who can provide the time and consistency she
needs.
Unfortunately, with two children and another dog in a small home, I am
not able to give Mabel the exercise and attention she requires. Mabel
is great around children. She is good with people and quite
affectionate. She will be a happy member of a loving family with a
large home and space to run.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mabel, a Long Beach Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
