Hi, I’m Brandi! I was saved by this wonderful rescue recently after sitting in a rural TN shelter for over a month. I had a healed broken femur when I came into rescue, but there was no medical attention necessary and it won't require future medical attention. I now am learning how to love life in a foster home. I am good with dogs, kids and all people. They tell me I’m loyal and that I am eager to learn. I am about 18 months old, weigh 35 lbs. and will make a great family pet. This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! First, CPR will be at PetValu in Southbury, CT on Friday, May 11th from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will be at Tractor Supply in Orange, CT on Saturday, May 12th from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will be hosting an Open House at their adoption center located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury, CT on Sunday, May 13th from 10am-1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $425 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested positive for heartworms and has been treated.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
