My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snoopy is an AWESOME dog. This sweet boy has come to our rescue because his family has fallen on hard financial times. He is 7 years young - but acts like a pup. He weighs 58 lbs.

He loves to run, play and swim. The dog park is one of his favorite places of all! Snoopy also loves to play with toys and retrieve balls. He is such a cutie!

Snoopy is good with other dogs (he shares his foster home with three). His former family reported that he has lived successfully with cats and horses as well.

He does not enjoy being crated but is well behaved in the home when left alone as long as food items and garbage are secured. He is a big cuddler and enjoys having his belly and butt rubbed.

Snoopy is almost a perfect dog - he is active and playful - but not hyper. If he has his daily exercise, he is content to lie on the couch or cuddle with his family.

He rides well in the car and is friendly to strangers. He has lived with children before - but should go to a home with children over the age of 8, as toddlers make him uncomfortable.

Snoopy has a sensitive stomach and as result requires a grain free diet. He is currently eating Wellness CORE brand food which agrees with him.

He is a dog that will require regular grooming - so prospective adopters should be prepared for that expense.

Snoopy's ideal home is:

-- One where he will not be left alone for long periods of time.
-- One with a fenced in yard (required - Snoopy is not trustworthy off leash)
-- One that has another dogs for him to play with.

This is wonderful dog who deserves a wonderful home!

He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, lyme/heartworm negative and microchipped. Additionally - we have run a full blood work panel on Snoopy to ensure his good health.

Email us for an adoption application to start the process. Adoption fee: $200.
