Foxy Lady is a 6 month old 30lb lab/shepherd mix who is very friendly and loving to everyone!!! She was found with her litter mates & mom, who was left chained to a tree. Her tail never quits wagging and she loves to be held like a lap dog, cradled like a baby and gives sweet gentle kisses. Foxy plays good with other dogs and is learning to play with toys. She will be wonderful with children or a person that wants a best friend and companion.
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! First, CPR with be with North Shore Animal League on Friday, February 9th at PetValu, 100 Main Street North, Southbury, CT from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will once again be at PetValu, 100 Main Street North, Southbury, CT on Saturday, February 10th from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will be hosting an Open House at their adoption center located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury, CT on Sunday, February 11th from 10am-1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend!
The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
