ADOPTION PENDING!

Buddy is a handsome fawn and white Boxer mix male who weighs about 32 lbs. A shy boy who has comes out of his shell after having been in his new foster home for 3 or 4 days and he is doing fine with the other dogs there . Veryyyy long legs so we don't know what else he's mixed with. Buddy gives every indication that he is housetrained as well as crate trained. Enjoys sleeping right next to his new foster dad. A good boy who becomes very attached to people..

As HAHS now has several adoption locations, please contact Mark at markbopp-hahs@comcast.net so you can find out how to meet BUDDY!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Overland Park Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
