COURTESY 'SADIE''s Story...
***** This is not an ART dog. Please call the number below to find out what the adoption procedure is. ******
I AM SADIE, A VERY FRIENDLY 3 YEAR OLD
STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIER/HOUND MIX.  AT 40 POUNDS I AM PETITE AND
BEAUTIFUL.  I WAS VERY UNDERWEIGHT WHEN I WAS RESCUED, BUT NOW I AM HEALTHY
AND GRATEFUL FOR EVERY SINGLE DAY.

I AM CRATE-TRAINED AND ALMOST HOUSEBROKEN.  I
KNOW BASIC BEHAVIOR AND COMMANDS.  I AM VERY SMART.  I LOVE EVERYONE
AND GREET THEM EITHER BY HUGGING THEM OR BY THROWING MYSELF AT THEIR FEET ON MY
BACK FOR A BELLY RUB.  I AM A DIE HARD LAP DOG AND WOULD LOVE TO SHARE YOUR
BED WITH YOU.

I GET ALONG WITH ANY DOG WHO LETS ME BE IN CHARGE, BUT I
WOULD PREFER A HOME WITH ONE BIG ENOUGH TO PLAY WITH ME.

I NEED A BIG YARD WITH A 6 FOOT FENCE.

MY $195 ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES VET CHECKUP,
VACCINES, HEARTWORM CHECK, SPAY AND MICROCHIP.  TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT
ME,  PLEASE CALL MY FOSTER MOM AT (757) 432-9222.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

COURTESY 'SADIE', a Norfolk American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Norfolk, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Norfolk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norfolk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norfolk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norfolk paves the way for another one to be saved.
