Here's what the humans have to say about me:
1/25/09 We need some better pictures of Luckie! She is a big black stocky lab mix and we know they don't have much chance of being adopted in the south. Even though she is a grown-up girl she still thinks she is a playful pup. She fancies herself a bit of a watchdog and will love to keep you company. She would do best in a home with a male dog of her own size - she is a little too rough for small dogs or cats, and she needs a firm pack leader so her bossiness doesn't take over. She has shown herself to be a bit
of an escape artist, digging out under fences if she gets bored so Luckie will need physical and mental stimulation - maybe a family with older kids and a male dog to keep her busy. Lucky has been saved from death row once already, can you give her a second chance at a good life?
**all our dogs are in partner shelters in the south unless marked "In Maine" or "In New England". We can only bring as many dogs north as we have foster homes, so please consider bringing Luckie into your life**
