Gadget's Story...

Gadget here!!! I am a very nice 9 year old beagle boy! Youngsters might need training, but I never ever act older than my young foster sisters. I even played with the doggy visitors who came to see our people! I have a waggy tail and happy expectant eyes that will greet you when you come into the room! My previous owners had to split so they tearfully brought me back to AZBR where they knew you would find me!

My foster family was shocked to see what a well mannered boy I am. I think I may have gotten my foster sisters into trouble (they got babied a bit). We have so much fun playing together. I’ll follow you around the house because I am curious but mostly I just want to be wherever you are. I rarely bark but you will know if a stranger is at the door if I do. I wait for my treats, not like some other beagles, as I take my treat very gently. I liked yesterday’s walk because I got to meet 2 lil’ preschoolers around the corner. They loved on me so much that I gave them kisses back. I am such a charmer! Take me home with you and then my happy smiling eyes can greet you every morning, with that look of love and loyalty that every doggy parent needs!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gadget, a Phoenix Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
