Meet Chippy! Chippy is an active and incredibly smart boy who would love nothing more than running on the beach or meeting new friends at the park. He is a goofy bundle of enthusiasm who is always up for an adventure. He will suit an active family that wants an outgoing and friendly companion. If you can lob a tennis ball you'll have a friend for life. Chippy is great with other dogs, in fact he loves other dogs big or small! He is just so much fun and will always be able to turn your frown upside down. Chippy is just about 18 months old and weighs in at around 35-40 lbs.
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! First, CPR will be hosting an Open House at their adoption center located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury, CT on Friday, April 13th from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will be at PetSmart in Meriden, CT on Saturday, April 14th from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will be hosting another Open House at their adoption center located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury, CT on Sunday, April 15th from 10am-1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $425 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested positive for heartworms and has received treatment.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
