Nellie's Story...
Hi, I'm Nellie & I'm am the most loving dog you will ever meet. I'm about 8 months old and am an American Bulldog mixed with possibly a lab. I may have not had the best luck in the past, but I still love people. My favorite is cuddling with my foster mom on the couch or playing with her in the backyard. When she goes off to work, I quietly wait for her to return in my crate. When she gets back though, I wiggle & jump around from excitement. If I need to go to the bathroom, I will run to the back door or whine to be let out. I'm also good in the car... (I choose the passenger seat so I can stay close) and I'm a great patient at the vet. They just loved me over there, and I was pleased to hear that I'm healthy! My foster mom keeps saying that I'm perfect, so If you're looking for a sweet & loving dog, pick me! Please email rescuemeproject@yahoo.com for an application. Nellie is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. She is also HW negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nellie, a Atlanta American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
