Millie (beagle X)'s Story...
Millie and her brother George were rescued from Murray County Georgia. They are mini beagles. They are about 5 months old and weigh 7 pounds. They will be about 17-20 pounds full grown. They are very loving. We would love to adopt both of them to the same home but are willing to seperate them to get them into forever homes. They are great with kids, cats and other dogs. If you adopt the pair together their adoption fee is $500 or if they are adopted seperately their adoption fee is $300 each. Their adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, deworming, fecal test and vaccinations. If you would like to meet these awesome doggies please call Jill at 815-919-2587 or send an email to Our call volume is very high so correspondence via email is preferred for a faster response.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie (beagle X), a Plainfield Beagle/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Chihuahua for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Beagle/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Chihuahua breeders who help with Beagle/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
