Roxie's Story...
Roxie is a very sweet girl that was rescued from a horrible situation necessitating animal control officers to conduct a raid. When she was rescued, Roxie was starving and bald. A very good Samaritan took her in and nursed her back to health. Thanks to this wonderful lady Roxie has turned into a beautiful healthy girl that is now ready to go to her very special forever home. Roxie only weighed 60 pounds when she was rescued, but today she weighs in at 95 pounds. Her hair is coming in nicely and she has such a beautiful face. Because of her past experience, she is currently food aggressive and will join in on any dog fights. She can be retrained with time and patience. Roxie is very good with children. If you have room in your heart and your home for this girl who has had such a rough start, please contact her foster mom, Sue, directly at (972) 962-4321, cell is (214) 676-9246 who is doing this placement under the guidelines of Operation Kindness, a rescue partner with Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue, Inc

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxie, a Kyle Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Kyle, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Kyle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kyle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kyle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kyle paves the way for another one to be saved.
