Bella's Story...
COME MEET BELLA AT THE PAWS-OK ADOPTION EVENT AT SHEPHERD MALL ON MARCH 2-3. CALL PAWS FOR MORE INFORMATION – 204-3964.

Bella is a beautiful small cat who is looking for a very special new home. We estimate that Bells was born in April 2008 and she is pure white with big blue eyes. She is very playful and likes string and toy mice. She likes to be held and loudly purrs her thanks for all the attention she receives.
Bella was surrendered to PAWS after being rescued from the jaws of a dog! Really, she was being carried in the jaws of a dog when a young woman saw her, got her away from the dog and brought her home. Unfortunately Bella couldn't stay with this family who grew to love her so much because they already had a houseful of cats.

Bella has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Because her immune system is compromised, she must be adopted as an indoor only cat into a home with no other cats. FIV cannot move across species so she is not a threat to humans, dogs or other non-cat pets.

So if you are looking for a beautiful small cat (she is full grown) and don't have any other cats in your home, she could be the perfect fit for you. If you would like to meet Bella, please stop by and see her at the Summit Pointe Veterinary Clinic at 9101 S. Western (1 mile south of 240 on Western) during normal business hours. You can call for more information on Bella to the clinic at 691-7833. Her adoption fee is $70.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Oklahoma City Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oklahoma City, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Oklahoma City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oklahoma City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oklahoma City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oklahoma City paves the way for another one to be saved.
