Beau's Story...
N/M, 1 year, Chihuahua, 10 lbs

Hi, my name is Beau. I was brought into MaxFund by my owner who
couldn't keep me because of the economy. Needless to say, I was very
upset because I loved my owner very much.

I am use to a home, so I am a little nervous here at MaxFund, but the
volunteers and staff are making me as comfortable as possible. I get
along with other dogs, but am not sure about kids. I know that I am
not crazy about cats. I just love to sit and cuddle on laps; although,
I will never say no to a nice walk! I am very well behaved and a
complete gentleman.

I know I am capable of giving lots of love and would be anxious to
meet people who would love and give me lots of affection in return.
Please come down to meet me so that I can go to my new forever home

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beau, a Denver Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Denver, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
