Everybody loves Howie! He has the cutest face and the biggest green eyes. When you look at him, the expression on his face seems to convey, "Uh, hello, my name is Howie. Uh, can you please pet me? If you do, I will worship you forever."

Our big orange guy is as mellow and laid-back as they come. Howie loves to follow you around and can't wait for you to sit down so he can immediately take over your lap and ramp up his purr motor! He loves attention, loves being pet, loves being brushed, and when it comes right down to it just loves people! Handsome Howie's even winning over his kitty roommates with his charm. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Howie, a Phoenix Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
