Spanky's Story...
Spanky is a black and tan 35 lb shepherd mix. He was born June 2001, is neutered, chipped, licensed and up to date with his shots. Spanky is housebroken, a house dog, jumps on the bed in the morning to let you know he wants to go out. He has been to school, has his diploma with his picture from obeience school. He is good with children, but will slip out if someone is not careful. He likes walks, playing and is good with male and female dogs and also cats. Spanky can climb over chain link fences, any fence needs to be 6 ft tall. He can not be chained in the yard, he whines, barks and suffers. Spanky is a loving, playful sweet boy that deserves a good home.If you are interested in adopting Spanky, please call Penny Adams at 619-466-0426. This dog cannot be adopted out of state. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spanky, a Spring Valley German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
