My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Annie is a sweet little Chihuahua who was brought in by her owner who was put in a situation where she was unable to care for her any longer.

Annie is approximately 5 years old and has lived all of her life in a multi-dog home. She is a gentle little soul that is friendlier than most Chihuahua's but still needs time to really relax with strangers. She is a true little lap dog that enjoys being cuddled and being around her human companions. Annie likes to go for walks and being an intelligent little girl it is great for her mental stimulation. She enjoys the company of other dogs and is fine with cats. She is also fine with children of all ages but because of her size she would be best suited to children that were old enough to be respect her.

Annie's daughter is also up for adoption at this time and if someone was looking for two little lap dogs they couldn't find a better choice than Annie and Baily.

Annie is under 10 lbs and is a healthy and happy little girl. She was originally trained to go outside to do her washroom duties but in the past year she was in a situation where she had to be paper trained. It would not take much to switch her back to going outside as she really enjoys the outdoors. She would definitely need a securely fenced backyard because of her size but at this time she would be ideal for apartment living. Although she does enjoy going outside, she would not need daily walks and keeping her happy would just require that her person treated her with love and enjoyed having her as a companion.

Annie would do fine in a family situation or as a single's companion. She would be fine as a second dog or if someone was home a lot during the day or could take her with them to work she would do well as an only dog.

This is a loving, affectionate and playful little companion that would do well in just about any situation where she was loved and treated like the little lady she is.
