Gavin is a Yellow Labrador Retriever/Shepherd Mix. He is Tan and White. Gavin is 3 Months Old. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs around 20 lbs.
Gavin is a bundle of joy! He is such a sweet natured young man, he loves to cuddle which we love here! Gavin is just a young pup at 3 months old so his real personality hasn't even shown through yet. Were not sure how big he's going to get but his feet are in the medium sized range. He's such a great puppy too, he loves leaning up against you and if your lucky he'll give you kisses. He adores the presence of other dogs, especially those of his speed. Gavin loves to play outside especially with the other dogs, but when he comes inside he likes to snuggle next to another dog for warmth and fall asleep. He even shares his dog toys, he lets the other dogs take the toys from him, and then he realizes they are gone he runs after them to take them back. Gavin loves riding in the car, he does so well. He looks out the window and looks at his surroundings. He does well on the leash but with him being so young needs some leash training. He loves dog beds, big comfy dog beds as well, but would love a spot on the couch next to you if possible.
Gavin would do well in any household especially a household with children. He loves children and even shares his kisses with them. Gavin does really well with other dogs, he loves their company and loves to snuggle with them. Gavin loves going for car rides so he would love to be brought along for family outings. Gavin is only 3 months old so he does need taught to trust the leash, but does decent on the leash, just with some time and training he will be a great walking partner. He loves going outside, and loves playing with the other dogs especially with dog chew toys. He loves the stuffed squeaky bones especially when the other dogs make the bones squeak, he perks up his ears and listens carefully. He loves to be loved on, and belly rubs are a bonus. He just is looking for that family that wants to love him forever!
Gavin is not aggressive with other dogs, he's has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors. There is a $95 adoption fee for puppies, and a $85 adoption fee for Adult/Senior Dogs.
