Rusty's Info...

I am up to date with shots and good with dogs.

Rusty's Story...
Rusty came into the shelter skinny with lots of sores and obviously very neglected. He is, however, a really nice guy who is healing quickly with food and shelter. He seems to love people and really likes other dogs. He is learning basic obedience and loves to go on walks. Although his current residence may be a step up from wherever he was before, it's less than he deserves. You can help restore his faith in people by offering him a loving home.

Act quickly to adopt Rusty. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier/Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
