My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 04-01-09: Carson is an adorable 1.5 year old, 13# yorkie mix who found himself homeless. He is being fostered in Davie, Florida. Foster Mom feels that he really needs a home in which one of the persons is home with him during both day and night. When he is left unattended, he will eat.....um.....paper! Huh? Yup, that's right............he's a very sweet little boy who is down on his luck and needs a forever home - could your's be the perfect one?

UPDATED BIO 02-28-09: Carson is an adorable 1.5 year old, 13# yorkie mix who found himself homeless. He is being fostered in Davie, Florida. Below is what Foster Mom said about Carson...........

"What a fabulous dog! He likes to play fetch, and will throw the toys up in the air by himself if he doesn't have somebody or somepuppy to play with. He is getting along great with the other dogs; his perfect home would be one in which he had other dogs to play with him. Carson is a typical puppy - sometimes into mischief as puppies are known for - he ripped some wallpaper off the wall while we were out on a bike ride, but that is the only "naughty" so far. He is housetrained, but he doesn't really alert to go out (not an issue here-they come in and out all day-). I keep paper down and he is faithful to use that. He stays in the playroom when we are out, with a bed and water available. At night, the others go in their crate and he goes in the x-pen with the door open, a bed, water, and paper down. He barked some one night early on, but he has been very settled the last two nights. Carson has let us know that he would prefer to sleep with 'his person' if that is what they want, although we try very hard not to let the foster dogs do that in the foster home, as their new parents may not like this practice. He cuddles on the sofa with his Foster Dad most nights, so I think he would like a nice Daddy like that to cuddle up with. He is not skittish at all and does not flinch or shy away from human contact. I absolutely think he was very well loved and very well socialized - no signs of any past abuse or trauma. I sure wish he could tell us his story.......Carson may be a Scottish Terrier or Westie mix - his hair is an ashy gray color; he has short little legs, a longer body, and big beautiful ears! The hair on his back is somewhat coarse, but the hair on his head {where it is longer} has some curl - too cute!

"Carson is such a delightful little puppy and is probably the best dog my family has ever fostered! We will be working with him on the leash - but otherwise, this is a perfect little yorkie mix companion for the right family - Carson can be adopted into a home with older children (older than 8 y/

INITIAL BIO 02-11-09: MEET CARSON! He's an adorable 1 1/2 y/o (revised after vetting!), 13# yorkie mix who found himself homeless. He is being fostered in Davie, Florida. :( He is very playful and gets along with other dogs. Carson would love to sleep in your bed at night and snuggle up close to you; although he is a young puppy, he settles down nicely and will quietly play with a toy by himself if the other dogs won't play with him. Carson does have some separation anxiety when left alone, so it would be best if his forever home had at least one stay-at-home person and another dog close to his age and size to play with.
