My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Freddie is Adopted

Please Read Freddie is a Hospice Puppy"

Freddie is currently fostered in Mentor Ohio and his adoption fee/donation is minimal to an approved adopter.

Freddie is a 13 week old male cock-a-poo, he came from a puppymill, and is “SPECIAL NEEDS” due to his grade 6 heart mur-mur.
He has had an echocardiogram done, and it was found that he is missing valves in his heart.
We are told that he is NOT a candidate for surgery. He has Pulmonic. stenosis.

Right now, Freddie doesn’t know he is any different than other puppies, he runs and plays like any other pup.
At this time his prognosis is poor, he may live longer and surprise us all, or he could begin to show signs of heart failure at any time.
The Vet just can't say for sure on a time frame for this boy, so each and every day is precious for him.

Freddie loves life and other dogs, he likes to play and romp around with children.
He is even learning house training in his foster home, and doing quite well with it!!

Freddie is receiving his puppy vaccines, and will be finishing them in the next month, and he will get his rabies vaccine.
He will not be neutered due to his heart, and the risk of putting him under anesthesia.
