My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, this is Isis. Isis is a beautiful American Bulldog/Pit Bull mix. Isis is a very smart dog, almost too smart. She sometimes gives me that look, like "what is she doing?" She is also somewhat skittish, and we would like to see her go to a home, that will help her overcome her nervousness. When she is chilling on the couch or bed with us, she is as calm as can be. New surroundings put her on edge, but she calms down quickly as long as you don't react to her. I just ignore it and keep walking and do not comfort her until she is back at my side. She bounces back rather quickly now and I think she has a great chance of outgrowing this. She is a very loving dog, likes to snuggle, loves to play with toys and loves to snuggle. (Oh did I say she loves to snuggle?) She is gentle with people, no aggressive issues at all, but sometimes will growl, hackles up at the other dogs if they get near her treat or food. I hope someone will give this beauty a chance! She is good with children but will not be placed with children under 10 years old.
