My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Toby is a Corgi--Jack Russell mix who is about 2-3 years and weighs only 21 pounds but could put on a bit more weight. He gets along well with other dogs and is also safe with cats. Toby is not loud; he will bark when someone is at the door but will stop when they come in. He is kenneled at night but would prefer to sleep in a human bed. Toby likes to lounge on the couch and be with his human friends. He is almost house broken and does well with praise and treats. He is not food aggressive, has never tried to bite, nor shown any signs of aggression toward any pet or human. He seems fine with kids although he has not been around really small children. Toby is smart and brings out the best of both breeds. He would be a wonderful companion with or without other pets in the house. Toby is with a 501c3 non profit rescue. He is neutered and recently had successful heartworm treatment so he needs to be kept relatively quiet without active play for the next month. Toby is up to date on shots, worming and has a HomeAgain microchip. His $200 adoption fee covers only about half his veterinary costs.
