James came from military housing near Fed Ex field along with several siblings. They were all living outside and a marine's wife was taking care of them the best she could. But he was being transferred and they had to move, so the woman called CARA for help.

Because they were outside they have battled some kitten diseases but they are now doing well and getting strong and healthy.

James is VERY affectionate and playful.
