Trixie is just a beautiful and sweet girl. Trixie is around a few years old and weighs about 40 lbs. She would love to hike and walk with you. This girl has a quiet side too. She adores snuggling with humans of all ages. Her foster mom says when you rub her belly, she will reward you with her gorgeous smile.Trixie wants to be the only dog in the house.
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! First, CPR will be at Petland Discounts in Southbury, CT on Friday, August 31st from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will be at Petco in Southington, CT on Saturday, September 1st from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will be back at Petco in Southington on Sunday September 2nd from 10-1pm for an adoption event. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $425 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested positive for heartworms and has been treated.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
