My name is Jack!

Retriever (Unknown Type) Dog for adoption in Vista, California - Jack

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Jack's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Jack's Story...
Kennel #D029 as of 1/16/04.
I'm available for adoption NOW!
My owners didn't want me anymore because for a very ironic reason: that I would jump up on them in my excitement and love for them. The irony of the whole thing is that I (like all pets) rely on my owner to train me properly and teach me all of my manners. So basically I was given up for reasons that were not my fault, but theirs. I'm overflowing with love for everyone and just need some guidance in the obedience department. Don't wait, come let me steal your heart today! If you are interested in adopting Jack please contact our adoption counselor, Angela Doss at 619-476-2491 or ADoss@chulavistapd.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Vista Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Vista, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
