Hi, my name is Honey. I am a golden tabby. I was born sometime in March 2007. I remember I lived under an air conditioner unit along with my two brothers, Nate and Noah. My mom, Ginger, was abandoned by her owner a long time ago. She tried to feed us but, we were always hungry and scared. I think that is why I am sometimes frightened. So many bad things happened to us. One day some nice ladies came to help us. I didnÂ’t know they were helping us. I just knew I was so afraid of all the changes happening to my family. I had to go to a doctor and he spayed me and gave me vaccinations. I have been eating food and feel a lot better now. But, I really would like to have a real home. I hope someday soon I can have a loving forever home. I know I am afraid of dogs and little children. I can be very shy and my brothers help me with this a lot. I hope my new forever home will be patient with me. And, I really wish my brothers could live with me too. But, I understand if they both canÂ’t. But, I hope and pray at least Nate can. Thank you for caring. Ruth Brown C.A.T.S. Cats Are Totally Special

Animals have been combo tested, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for worms, and have been spayed or neutered. Kittens too young to have been altered will be placed with a certificate for the spay/neuter (rabies will be extra).

Our adoption fees start at $85.00.  The first step in the application process is to complete an application. Once the application has been approved, you will be required to complete a contract to finalize the adoption. The contract stipulates that you must keep the cat/kitten indoors and may not declaw.

Please join C.A.T.S. representatives on Saturdays at the Hixson PetSmart on Route 153 from 12-5. We always bring a variety of cats and kittens for adoption. With each adoption, we offer a free 3.5-lb of kitten or 4-lb. bag of Hill's Science Diet cat food and a small sample bag of Iams' cat or kitten food, and a book of coupons. If available, each adoption will also come with a pillow, toy, or some other cat accessory.

If you would like to complete an application beforehand, please send an e-mail request to Betty at  We look forward to helping you find a permanent, furry addition to your family!
