My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zsa Zsa is a 50 pound, 2 to 3 year old sweet girl that was rescued from the County shelter with her littler of puppies. Zsa Zsa acts like a puppy herself and would love to bound and play freely. She has an excellent temperament and is loving and affectionate. She had an old hip injury so requires a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) - in this procedure, the damaged rough-edged head of the femur is removed. The remaining part of the femur forms a false joint with the muscles, ligaments and tendons in the area). We have had a number of other dogs that have had the procedure done and in addition to alleviating the pain associated with the old injury, they actually return to pretty normal function. She got her surgery and is doing very well, she can't wait to play with the other dogs. We would love to have a home or even a fosterhome to continue to recover in.
