ELVIS's Story...
This is Elvis! Elvis is an adorable little guy! He is 5.5 pounds big at 6 weeks old. He is a friendly little pup! He is mostly black with a white marking on his chest. Elvis is very playful. He is very good with the kids in the foster family. He is also very lovable. The foster home notes that he listens pretty good and goes potty on the paper most of the time. Elvis is a cuddler! He also shows interest in other dogs. He was rescued from TN thanks to our wonderful foster family. (He is fostered with another dog and children.) Elvis arrived at our rescue on March 7th. He is not adoptable until March 17th. If you are interested in adopting Elvis, please email Sheryl's Den for an application for adoption. #####PLEASE BE SURE YOUR APPLICATION IS COMPLETE OR IT WILL NOT BE PROCESSED #####

***** If your interested in fostering puppies we could always use the help to save more puppies. A crate, food, and medical care are provided. Why Adoption is a Great Option

ELVIS, a West Milford Basset Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in West Milford, or seeking a Basset Hound puppy from a breeder in West Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
