Spartan von Switzerland's Story...
Spartan von Switzerland is a classic looking 12 month old German shepherd. He is a tall boy with a very short and neat coat. He is a wonderful dog, loving with people and great with dogs. He has some training, which he remembers faster with a treat. He walks well on a leash and stays right with you. Spartan tries to get in every car he passes so we presume he likes to go for rides. He played with a soccer ball for a few minutes until he was more interested in his walk. He seems to be an easy dog who would fit almost any situation. He seems to relate to men as well as women. He is another perfect dog who most likely was another victim of the economy and someone losing their home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spartan von Switzerland, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
