Osirus's Story...
We think this handsome guy may have a little hound in him somewhere, which means he's not kenneling well. Osirus is a beautiful guy and will show his true colors best outside a shelter setting. He can act a little crazy inside but once he's out of his jail cell, Osirus shows he's got a lot to offer. We're still getting to know him and will update this page soon but run, don't walk, if you think you can spring this boy from the joint.

Act quickly to adopt Osirus. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Osirus, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
