Rudy's Story...
Hey, I’m Rudy… You may know me as Rudolph W. Giuliani the 107th Mayor of New York Friggin’ City! Yeah, I lost this last Presidential race… Guess I should have remained a Democrat… But hey, everybody did crazy things in the 80’s right? Besides… How could I ever clean up Bush’s mess, oops, I mean uh, fill his shoes… Anyway… Now that I’m retired from politics I figured I’d give this whole companion pet thing a go. I make a pretty quiet, gentle, loving pup that gets along great with kids, cats, and other dogs… So hey, let’s leave my political career out of this and be friends…all I need is love, training and guidance. Are you looking for a puppy, a baby to grow up as part of your family? Then you must vote for me, Rudy. 11 weeks old-16lbs. My adoption fee is $260 and includes; microchip, reduced cost neuter and $25 rebate, reduced cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudy, a Portland Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
