Runa is a Plott Hound/Black Labrador Retriever Mix. She is Brindle. Runa is 3 Months Old. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She weighs around 20 lbs.
Runa is a lovely little playful girl! At first she is a little timid with people, but once she spends a few minutes with you she loves to give kisses and wag her tail constantly! She loves anyone who is playful like her and that wants to play with her and wrestle around on the bed. She loves to play with the other rescue dogs and will wrestle around with them till she gets tired. She is very excited to see you and will jump up on the bed and lay beside you and give you kisses and chew on your fingers. She loves when you throw stuffed animals and chew toys for her, she'll run over and grab a stuff animal and then hop onto the bed or couch right beside you and chew on it. Runa loves to take naps and will lay right beside you and curl up with you. She does very well in the car and likes to squeeze herself right beside you so she feels safe and content. She's just a happy girl who needs a family's love.
Runa would do well in any household. She loves adults, kids and other dogs. She especially loves other dogs. She feels most comfortable with other dogs but if she has a few minutes to get to know you, after that she's a completely attention hog and loves being loved on. She does very well in the car and does okay on the leash but with more encouragement she'll be a perfect walking partner in no time. She just needs a family to love and cuddle her and let her know she has a forever family!
Runa is not aggressive with other dogs, she's has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors. There is a $95 adoption fee for puppies, and a $85 adoption fee for Adult/Senior Dogs.
