Savannah's Story...
Savannah is aTerrier Mix, about 4 years, and weighs about 17.6 pounds. She is especially loving toward people, she will rest her head on your shoulder and snuggle up to your neck. She loves to give kisses and wants to cuddle all the time. She is fine with cats and lives with a toddler with whom she is very tolerant. She would be happy being the only dog in the home; however, she also loves to play with most other dogs. If you would like to apply to adopt this pet please visit www.powellPAWS.org to review our adoption requirements and submit an application. Submitting an application does not guarantee or hold a dog, or commit you to the adoption process. All PAWS dogs are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Savannah, a Powell Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Powell, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Powell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Powell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Powell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Powell paves the way for another one to be saved.
