Deputy and his brother were found abandoned in a home by U.S. Marshals. He is about 11 weeks old, weighs just 10lbs and is a super cutie. He loves to play in the grass and enjoys the cool shade of a tree. I don't know if he loves to swim, but he sure does enjoy wading in his kiddy pool. Deputy has bouts of energy and loves to chase a ball and enjoys playing tug-of-war with his brother, Marshall. He is a happy, go-lucky puppy! But pick this little guy up in your arms and he melts. He's not a big eater, but sure does love his doggie wafer treats. Deputy is close to being fully crate trained and house broken. Deputy would love to find his forever home. After being abandoned, he sure deserves to find a loving family that will keep him forever safe. He will make a wonderful family companion.
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! First, CPR will be at Petland Discounts in Southbury, CT on Friday, June 29th from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will be at Petco in Southington, CT on Saturday, June 30th from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will be at PetValu in Danbury, CT on Sunday, July 1st from 10am-1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee.
If you are an MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48-hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
