Romy's Story...

Meet Romy. She is a very sweet girl who was surrendered to a shelter with her rottie friend because the owners were moving and could not take them. She is very sweet and loves to just be right next to you. So far she seems very laid back , not hyper at all and has done great with the other dogs she has met. She weighs 71 pounds but is thin so needs to add some weight.... she is eating good so she should be back to full weight in no time. So far she loves everyone she meets including children. Romy will be spayed , micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, HW tested , de-wormed and hw and flea prevention applied all before going to her new home. We are accepting applications now !! We do require a fenced in yard and previous rottweiler experience to be considered to adopt this gorgeous girl

All Dogs shown by appointment only - Must have a completed adoption application before adoption process will begin. Please Note that we will ONLY adopt to Indoor homes with outdoor playtime and pottytime . We do ask for updates on our dogs to make sure they are doing well after the adoption and also require that they come back here if the adoption does not work out. All dogs MUST be spayed or neutered there are no exceptions to this so please don't ask !

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romy, a Newburgh Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
