Luna's Story...
Luna is a Chihuahua puppy, 7 months old. This special needs puppy is very sweet and well socialized. She loves all people cats and dogs. She is deaf but that doesn't stop her from enjoying a full life. She needs to go to an extra special loving home where she can enjoy the company of her human companions, so people who work at home or are retired would be perfect for her. She would enjoy sharing her new home with another little dog because she likes to play. She loves my cats and washes their faces. Luna has been dubbed "The Hostess" at the little dog park because she greets everyone with a wagging tail and kisses. She loves exploring when we go out for walks. She is the sweetest little dog. She is house trained, vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She sleeps cuddled up with me at night and rides well in the car waiting quietly while I run in to do errands.

IF you can give this wonderful puppy the best home possible please feel free to contact me at 2treefrogs@earthlink.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luna, a Berkeley Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
