Miss Penny is an 8 lb. purring fur mop. She's a sweet, affectionate, well-mannered cat, although she'll have her wacky kitty frenzy moments. She was born in 2002.
Not a wall-flower, she's fierce, knows her own mind, and will keep you on task should you forget to pet or feed her.
Miss Penny's super power is her "lap sense". From rooms away, she can tell when you're sitting and will appear to look up at you, asking if she may jump up to be petted.
She's friendly to all adults and tolerates kids. She does not like other cats or dogs, and would prefer to be an only pet.
Miss Penny, like all ARCF cats for adoption, has been spayed, microchipped, is up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
If you are interested in meeting Miss Penny, please fill out the
"I'm interested" form at our website, and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.
Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
