Daisy's Story...
What was that? What did you say? Oh, I am deaf, but I know when someone is talking about me! But I don’t mind at all, in fact most people don’t even notice. See, I’m super smart and aware of everything going on around me… It doesn’t hinder my ability to have fun one bit. Anyway, let’s move on… Did you notice it’s Spring? Probably a good time to add a little flower to your life… Well my name is Daisy, and I would love to bring a little sun into your life! I’m a very happy girl who would make a lovely running companion and an over-all great companion too. I am quite energetic so I will need a family with an active lifestyle. I’m housebroken and I keep my crate clean all night too! I do well with other dogs, I like to play and I also like to take naps on top of my crate so I can look down on the other dogs and see what’s going on… It’s pretty cute—or so I’ve been told… I think a home without children may be best, I love people and all but kids can be a bit over stimulating. Did I mention I’m very loyal to my person, eager to please and that I learn quick? Well, I am all of the above and more! See for yourself! 2 years old-15lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; spay, microchip, reduced cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Portland Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
