Paco's Story...
Did you know Paco means absolutely freakin’ adorable? I’m not sure it does, but it should! And guess what, my personality is just as cute as my photo! I’ve been an outdoor dog for the last 7 months (my whole life!), and I haven’t had a lot of attention so it may take me a little bit before I feel totally comfortable in my new home. I love affection, and I like people a lot, I’m just a bit overwhelmed at the moment. But I’m warming up a little more each day. I keep my crate clean at night, I enjoy the other dogs, and cats and children should be just fine as-well. So yeah, take a good look at this furry little face, these golden yellow eyes and follow your heart. 7 months old-20lbs. My adoption fee is $240 and includes; reduced cost neuter and $25 rebate, microchip, reduced cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paco, a Portland Corgi/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Golden Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Corgi/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Corgi/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
