Dynamite's Story...
Dynamite was a backyard dog who kept escaping looking for some contact until his owner finally gave him up for good. He is a strong guy and needs a strong handler to match. He is pretty independent and not needy in the affection department. Due to his history, he takes a little while to warm to you but will bond wonderfully given the time to trust you. We're still getting to know him and will update his info soon.

Act quickly to adopt Dynamite. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dynamite, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
