My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our foster dogs live as family members in the foster home until chosen for adoption.

Hi, my name is Bella, which means beautiful, and that is exactly what I am!! I have the prettiest markings especially the dark highlights outlining my golden face. My coloring looks like it was painted on and ranges from a light beige, to a golden tan, to a rich red, and even includes some black wispy highlights… If you think I look good in my pictures, you should see me in person! I am as sweet as I am beautiful.

I am very gentle and kind so I would be a great addition to any family situation. I get along well with other dogs, and people of all ages. When I meet a new person, I usually go right up to them and rest my head on their lap or lay down at their feet hoping for some love.

My favorite thing in the whole world is to rest with my person and be petted. I also like to go for walks and explore around the back yard. I am great in the car, and will just sit in the back seat enjoying the ride. I am calm and friendly at all times. I don’t have any interest in cats, so I don’t mind if there are any in my new home…as long as you are there and I can love you forever. I don’t know exactly how old I am, but I think I am just two or three years young. I am small-medium sized, about 35lbs, which means I am the perfect size for cuddling on your lap!

I am potty-trained and am working on learning some obedience tricks. I am taking care of my five babies right now, but will be ready for my forever home towards the end of April or early May. When I go to my new home, I will be up to date on vaccines, micro chipped, spayed, and licensed in Ohio.
