Zeke is a very handsome, and adorable approximately 2 year old, Red and Black, German Shepherd. Zeke is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. He is microchipped.
Zeke was an owner surrender. His previous family did not have a back yard and did not realize what the GSD Breed requires to be happy and mentally stable. They only acquired Zeke for 3 weeks and decided to contact Rescue so we can re-home Zeke with a family that can cater to his energy level.
Zeke is a very happy German Shepherd and he will need a family to spend lots of quality time with him. He has a very high ball drive. If someone is seeking to train for working K9; i.e. Search & Rescue or Scent Detection; Zeke is for YOU. All Zeke wants to do is please and he is excelling with his obedience lessons. For a family or individual seeking a GSD to play fetch/catch the ball then Zeke is your champion! Zeke is great with children of all ages, he is okay with some dogs as long as they don't take his ball.
Because of his high ball drive we are uncertain how he would be with kitty cats. We know he loves to chase and catch bumble bees, and we are teaching him this isn't a good hobby for him! He also loves going after the water hose when on full blast, he now understands he can only play with the hose when I say Ok. He is an amazing Boy!
We would prefer Zeke go home to an experienced German Shepherd Family/Owner however this is not necessary if the family/person is healthy and active like Zeke! If you can offer this outstanding Shepherd a loving, stable, deserving home; Please Email:

All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, neutered and or spayed, and microchipped.
Adoption fees range from $100 - $450 depending on age, degree of personalized training, and if proof of bloodlines can be provided.
